Dropping the gloves
The Bruins-Jets got into four fights, which you don’t see anymore in today’s NHL. In the first period, Bruins Charlie McAvoy dropped the gloves with Jets Neal Pionk after McAvoy laid out a Jets player with a big hit. In the second period there were three fights, Bruins Brad Marchand dropped the gloves with Jets Nikolaj Ehlers, as Marchand didn’t like the hit Ehlers put on him; Bruins Brandon Carlo instigated a fight with Jets Gabriel Bourque, after Bourque hit a Bruins player; and Jets Luca Sbisa instigated a fight with Bruins Karson Kuhlman after Kuhlman laid out a Jets player.
