Dropping the gloves
This was a wild game which included two fights, lots of scrums and an elbow-to-the-head cheapshot. In the first period, Bruins Chris Wagner dropped the gloves with Lightning’s Barclay Goodrow, who got overpowered by Flames Milan Lucic just a few weeks ago. Wagner landed the best punch in the fight and this fight was mainly a response for Goodrow’s cheapshot elbow to the head earlier on Bruins Ondrej Kase.
In the second period, Bruins captain Zdeno Chara dropped the gloves with, you guessed it, Lightning’s Pat Maroon, after Chara got cross-checked from behind by Anthony Cirelli, which sent him to the ice. There were more scrums with rough stuff from this game and you can watch all the action from this game here.
