Bruins announce Patrice Bergeron as team’s Captain
Today the Boston Bruins announced that Patrice Bergeron has been named the Captain of the Bruins. Bergeron becomes the 20th Captain in Bruins history. Bergeron has played in 1,089 career season games for the Bruins, scoring 352 goals and recording 869 points in his 16 NHL seasons. Bergeron has also been nominated for the Selke Trophy, for best defensive forward, for 9 consecutive seasons, and winning 4 times (2012, 2014, 2015, 2017).
